1. Obituary. Nadene "Hilda" Lamb, nee Johnson, aged 70, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at Aspirus Riverview Hospital in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Nadene was born on September 17, 1952, to August Willard and Mildred Jane Johnson in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, the seventh of nine children.


She loved to cook and was often found in the kitchen; she was especially proud of her potato salad and fudge. She loved her grandchildren more than anything and talked about them all the time. Nadene was a caretaker at heart and took care of everyone around her and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She always took pride in her appearance and was often complimented on how young she looked.


Nadene is survived by her three daughters, Shelly (Norman) Hatcher of Gilchrist, OR, and Janey (David) Berg of Elroy, WI, and Amber (Dave) Bush of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, sisters Pamela (Robert) Rios, Sharon Cusick and Sally (Bill) Schweiger, brothers Timothy (Kathy) Johnson and Mr. Dale (Lori) Johnson, 5 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 9 great granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.


She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gary Lamb, siblings Donald Ray Layne, Ronald Delson Layne and David Darwin Johnson.


A brief viewing was held for immediate family with celebration of life to be held at a later date.
