1. Miscellaneous. Mrs. Parmelee was a consistent professor of religion, but the date of her uniting with the church is not know.
In the time of the Revolution she was a very strong patriot. She felt and expressed a very strong confidence in the ultimate success of the American cause. Besides fitting out at several different times her son, Theodore, who commanded a company of horse for the battlefield, she made with her own hands and gave at different times five blankets to the destitute American soldiers. \emdash "History of the Town of Goshen . . . "
