Age 80, of Cuba City died on Wednesday, at Epione Pavilion, Cuba City. Joyce was born in Platteville, WI, the daughter of Harold and Wilma (Helling) Rawson. She married her high school sweetheart, on September 19, 1953. She worked at Russell Manufacturing as a secretary following high school. When they moved to Cuba City, she worked at Schroeder's Clothing Store before becoming the Cuba City High School's principal's assistant until retirement in 1996. She worked part-time at H&R Block and Rich's Gas Station because she couldn't just be retired. Joyce was an avid reader, loved working on word/search puzzles, volunteered at the Senior Food Kitchen in Cuba City, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her grandparents, parents, and a brother, Ronald.

Joyce married Leroy J Genthe, son of George August Genthe and Mabel M Stark, on 19 Sep 1953. (Leroy J Genthe was born on 13 Mar 1934 in Platteville, WI, died on 28 Nov 2018 in Appleton, WI and was buried in Platteville, WI, Hillside Cemetery.)
