I think there was one of Dad's cousins who got polio (I heard Dad say once, the man thought he got polio from eating grapes, must have been eating grapes off the vine just before he came down w/polio??) when he was farming (around the Potosi - Cassville area) so he & his wife ran a neighborhood grocery store out of their home in Lancaster - I can't think of his Name but his wife's name was Marion I think. They had 2 kids that I knew of, the boy I can't recall the name right now but the girls name was Judy & she married a guy by the name of Jim Fremont of Lancaster. Jim was in my class @ Lancaster (played the accordian - real good too). The last I knew they lived in Beloit.

Clinton married Marion Louise Bendorf, daughter of John Ernest Bendorf and Leta Mae Gelbach. (Marion Louise Bendorf was born on 8 Jul 1918 in Lancaster, WI, died on 28 Feb 1989 in Lancaster, WI and was buried in Lancaster, WI, Hillside Cemetery.)
