1. Obituary. Sauk City- Iva B. Taylor, age 86, was born on Jan. 2, 1904, in Kendall Township. Her parents were Isabelle (Trenary) and John Ruskell. She attended Belmont Grade and High Schools, graduating in 1921. She later graduated from the Normal School in Milwaukee and returned to Belmont to teach elementary school. She ended her teaching career in Monroe when she married Jesse Taylor on Aug. 31, 1927. They farmed in the Belmont and Platteville areas, where their children were born and raised. They moved to Sauk City in 1960, where they operated the Taylor Feed and Supply Company. She died at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Lodi, on Monday, Feb. 19, after long illness.

She is survived by her husband Jesse, a daughter Betty (Dale) Sander of Platteville; two sons, John (Dorothy) of Prairie du Sac, and Robert (Julie) of Rockford, Illinois, and thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, three sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held at Gnewikow-Hooverson Funeral Home, Sauk City, at 10 am on Friday, Feb. 23, with Pastor Larry Collins officiating. Burial will be at 1:30 pm at the Belmont Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 until 8 pm on Thursday, Feb. 22, at the funeral home.
