  General Notes:

An artisan, perhaps a painter. In 1610 he was paid 5 shill ings for coloring the font of Horsham Church. A church war den in 1626/7. In 1635 his five sons left for America an d 4 years later he followed with his 2 daughters on the "St . John". Settled at Guilford, Cn.

Francis married Ferris Quenell, daughter of Henry Quenell and Beatrix Carter, on 13 May 1605 in Horsham, Sussex, England. (Ferris Quenell was born on 17 Apr 1587 in Horsham, Sussex, England and died on 10 Mar 1627 in Horsham, Sussex, England.). The cause of her death was Childbirth.
