Original grave was lost due to 50 years of abandoned cemetery at Centre/Tampico, Taylor Township, Post Office, West Liberty, Indiana. Memorial was placed at Howard County Veterans Memorial.
Parents are Ezekial H Parker & Susannah "Sally" Earley. (Lineage proven by will of Ezekial H Parker.) Children's birth years proven by military survivor filing. Gravestone of son,John M Parker, has inaccurate birth year. He was actually born in 1856 per his mother, Sarah (Stout) Parker Rice.
