1. Obituary: LaCrosse Tribune. WARRENS - Nathan J. Garber, 24, of Warrens died Monday, Sept. 7, 2015, at his home.

He was born June 14, 1991, in Sturgis, S.D., to James and Linda (Davis) Garber. Nathan was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 2010. Nathan had a very mechanical mind and spent a majority of his spare time working and driving anything that had a motor; trucks, four-wheelers and snowmobiles were some of his most favorite to work on. Nathan had recently worked at Coveris. He enjoyed being outdoors. While working for Gary Jensen on the cranberry marsh, he looked forward to being outside on those beautiful days. Nathan will be remembered for his gentle spirit and kind heart. He was the kind of guy that always had a smile on his face. Nathan struggled with pain and addictions during the last few years. He was working very hard to straighten out his life. In spite of his addictions, Nathan had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He passed from a life of bondage; to freedom in Christ. He will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved him.

He is survived by his parents, James and Linda Garber of Warrens; aunts and uncles, Paul Davis of Irving, Texas, George (Karen) Garber of Great Falls, Mont., Judy Keeth of Crocker, Mo., Gerald (Leaf) Garber of Eau Claire, Jack (Connie) Garber of Warrens, Rita (Todd) Steffel of Tomah, and Carol (Gary) Mitchell of Waynesville, Mo.; great-aunts and uncles, Ralph and Ruth Phillips of Tomah, and Kenny (Lorraine) Garber of Warrens. Nathan is further survived by countless cousins, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandparents, LeRoy and Betty Garber; and maternal grandparents, Harold and Laura Davis.
