1. Obituary. Virginia E. Stenulson, age 90, of Belmont, died on Monday, May 28, 2007, at Bloomfield Manor Nursing Home in rural Dodgeville. Virginia was born on Sept. 19, 1916, in Eden Township, Iowa County the daughter of Oliver and Lida M. (Pedley) Vickerman.
She was united in marriage in 1937 to George Stenulson. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 1990. She attended the Ipswich Country School and graduated from Platteville High School in 1935. Virginia and George raised their family in Belmont.
She enjoyed going to auctions, playing bingo, playing cards, crocheting, going to church activities, bell collecting, and her every day lunch at the Belmont Senior Center. At the top of her list was spending time with her grandchildren. For many years she was a food server for the Belmont Community Schools.
