• Obituary. WISCONSIN RAPIDS \emdash Former Veedum resident, Grace Parker, 87, Wisconsin Rapids, died at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Assembly of God Church, Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Robert A. Curle officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery, Pittsville. Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. today at Higgens Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids, and at the church on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service time. She was born May 1, 1899, at Warren, to the late Frank and Ella Hancock. She was married to E. Martin Parker July 5, 1917, at Black River Falls. He survives. They moved to Veedum in 1932, and in 1953, they moved to Wisconsin Rapids. Surviving, besides her husband, are two daughters, Mrs. Charles (Agnes) Harshner, Wisconsin Rapids, and Mrs. Roy (Gertrude) Knuteson, Fort Collins, Colo.; six sons, Rev. Edgar, Plover, Fred E., Nekoosa, Rev. Arnold. Chesterton, Ind., Alfred, Apple Valley, Minn., Harry, Stevens Point, and Rev. Richard, Hampton, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Cox, Port Edwards; 28 grandchildren, and 45 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers, and a sister.
