1. Obituary. MRS. ESTELLA VROMAN DIED LAST SATURDAY
Mrs. Estella Vroman, nee Estella Lamb, was born in Monroe county, Wisconsin on Nov. 18, 1875, and passed away on Dec. 2, 1944, at the age of 69 years, 14 days following a paralytic stroke. She had been in ill health for some time. On Feb. 1, 1891, she was united in marriage with William Vroman. Seven children were born to this union, Mrs. Mil PUrdy, Tomah, Mrs. Perry Gorbet, Mrs. Riley Hart and Chester Vroman, Warrens, Mrs. Oscar Heser and Erwin Vroman, Chicago, and Frank at home. Mrs. Vroman is survived by her husband and seven children, 25 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two half sisters, three half brothers. One brother, Frank, and one sister, Della, preceded her in death. She had lived her entire life in this community. She was a kind and loving wife and mother and will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon from the Ninneman Funeral Home, the Rev. M. Zz. Hovda officiating. Interment was in the La Grange cemetery.

CELEBRATE GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY DATE
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Vroman were pleasantly surprised on Sunday, Feb. 2, when immediate relatives gathered at their home near Kirby to help them celebrate fifty years of happy wedded life. A delicious buffet lunch was served and a purse of money was presented to Mr. and Mrs. Vroman.
Those present were Mr. and Mrs. Milo Purdy, Left Purdy, Mr. and Mrs. Perry Gorbet, Mr. and Mrs. Riley Hart and family, Frank Vroman, Mr. and Mrs. Chester Vroman and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Heser and sons, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Vroman, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Bernhardt, Mr. and Mrs. Wade Goff, Mrs. Frank Lamb and Martin Birkholz.
All departed in the late afternoon, wishing them many more years of happy companionship.
