LAKE GENEVA, Wis. -- Eldon J. Peacock, 85, of Lake Geneva, died Tuesday, April 10, 2012, at home.

Services will be at noon Monday, April 16, at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lake Geneva, with Pastor Mary Ann Moller-Gunderson officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memory Gardens. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Steinke Funeral Home, Lake Geneva, is in charge of arrangements.

Eldon was born on Dec. 23, 1926, in South Bend, Ind., son of the late John L. and Esther (Boll) Peacock. He graduated from Platteville High School in 1945.

He married Beverly Ann Bendorf on Aug. 28, 1948, in Madison. He was her loving husband of 63 years.

He was employed at Wisconsin Power & Light Co., for more than 30 years.

Surviving is his loving wife, Beverly, of Lake Geneva. He was the beloved father of Betsy (Louis) Peacock-Tobin, of Vacaville, Calif., Cathy (Bill) Becker, of Waterford, and Bruce (Susan) Peacock, of St. Francis; and fond grandfather of Bryan Peacock and Christopher Becker.

Eldon married Beverly Ann Bendorf, daughter of John Ernest Bendorf and Leta Mae Gelbach, in 1948. (Beverly Ann Bendorf was born on 24 Aug 1930 in Grant Cty, WI, died on 15 Aug 2023 in Waterford, WI and was buried in Lake Geneva, WI, Roselawn Memory Gardens.)
