1. Obituary. RACINE - Henrietta W. (nee: Jackering) McDonald, 91, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 16, 2003, at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove.

Henrietta was born in Preston May 22, 1911, daughter of the late Henry J. and Pearl (nee: Dailey) Jackering. On December 5, 1934, in Galena, Ill. at the Methodist parsonage, she was united in marriage to Walter J. McDonald, who preceded her in death June 9, 1973.

She came to Racine in 1969 and was employed by Unico Incorporated, Benco Gas Station, and Goodwill Industries for many years. Henrietta was active in the Interfaith Singles Club and enjoyed the many friends she made through the years. She will be sadly missed.

Survivors include her children, Karen P. (Theodore) Nelson, Keith W. (Cheryl) McDonald, all of Racine; nine grandchildren, Tammylynn (Al) Nelson Romanowski, Brett (Debbie) McDonald,

Angie McDonald, Michele Nelson, Walter 'Bud' (Denise) McDonald, Malia (James) Dexter, Jeffrey Champion, James Champion, Julie (Brian) Kohlmann; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Dorothy) Jackering of Lancaster; brother-in-law, Robert (Kay) McDonald of Prairie du Chien; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home this Tuesday evening, March 18, 2003, 7 p.m. with Rev. Karl Luchterhand officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home this Tuesday evening from 4 p.m. until time of services. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, Wednesday at 12 p.m.
