Raymond J. Weeden, 89, of Beloit, died Wednesday, July 6, 2005 in Beloit Health & Rehabilitation Center.
A resident of Beloit since 1924, he was born on April 16, 1916 in Hub City, Wis., the son of Clark Addison and Grace Eleanor Kinyon Weeden. Raymond was a 1936 graduate of Beloit High School. He married Jane Kline on Sept. 29, 1945 in the Old Stone Church, Rockton, Ill. She predeceased him in 1984.
Raymond was formerly employed by Ford Hopkins Drug, Merrick Dairy, Wright and Wagner Dairy, and "Beatrice Foods" Kerry Ingredients, retiring in 1978. He enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, golf and bowling. Raymond also loved to collect music from the 1920's and 1930's through the Big Band era.
Survivors include two brothers, Clark P. Weeden of Beloit, and Jack D. (Gladys) Weeden of Rockton, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Carol (Paul) Brom of Beloit, Richard (Pauline) Weeden of Brodhead, Wis., Donald Weeden of South Beloit, Ill., Jeannine (Danny) Johnson, Dave (Jill) Weeden, Gene (Jackie) Weeden all of Beloit, and Ken (Phyllis) Weeden of Lake Geneva, Wis.; an numerous other nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers and their spouses, Virgil (Irene) Weeden and Marvin (Bess) Weeden.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2005 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home 2355 Cranston Road, Beloit, Wis., with Pastor Norman Starks officiating. Burial will be in Rockton, Ill. visitation will be from 12 p.m. until the time of services Saturday, in the funeral home.

Raymond married Jane K Kline on 29 Sep 1945. (Jane K Kline was born on 8 Nov 1920, died on 26 Jul 1984 and was buried in Rockton, IL, Rockton Township Cemetery.)
