Mike was born April 10, 1950 to DeForest A. Becker and Bertha M. Olhert Becker. He was married to Deb Fuerstenberg, together they raised 2 children Nick (Brianna Martin)of Tulsa OK, and Derek (Justin Jambois) of Madison. Mike graduated from Platteville High School. He worked for 32 years as a custodian at UWP. Mike loved to hunt, fish, grow his victory garden and work on small engines. He loved to tinker and would help anyone in any way he could, especially giving away garden produce. His favorite quote was "I know and old indian trick."

He is further survived by his sisters Virginia Andrew, Karen Hoffman, Kathryn (Frank) Beyer, Bonnie Becker and brothers Jim (Pat) Becker and Dennis Becker. Brother in-law Steve (Gail) Pothour and Sister in-law Barbara (Mark) Hugill and many Nieces and Nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his Parents, Step Father Phillip Klein, Brothers Rodger, Dan, Tom and sister Janet Hoffman.

David married Debra Lou Fuerstenberg, daughter of Delbert Fuerstenberg and Ruth Bernita Pothour. (Debra Lou Fuerstenberg was born on 19 Mar 1958 in Platteville, WI and died on 31 May 2024 in Madison, WI.)
