1. Miscellaneous. Susannah "Susa" Alderman was born 1764 to Thomas Alderman & Hanna Davis of Hartford, CT. Connecticut, Church Records show her 27 Sep 1787 marriage to Abel Tyler in Hartford. The pairing is noted in Wm Alderman's book "Alderman in America". Susanna's father also notes Susa's marriage to Abel in his 1813 Will, listing his children in bequeaths: "... daughter Susa (Susan) wife of Abel Tyler... ".
The "New England Historical & Genealogical Register" says that Susanna died where she lived, Canton, CT 1830. Her grave is next to her husband, in Hartford's Southwest Cemetery.
Susannah married Abel Tyler, son of Abial Tyler and Jemima Richards. (Abel Tyler was born in 1758, died on 9 Dec 1838 in New Hartford, CT and was buried in Collinsville, CT, Southwest Cemetery.)
