Robert married Ramona Violet Pothour, daughter of George William Pothour and Ella Mae Fitzsimmons. (Ramona Violet Pothour was born on 29 Jul 1912, died on 20 Feb 1970 in Janesville, WI and was buried in Janesville, WI, Milton Lawns Memorial Park.)
