1. Obituary. From the Wisconsin State Journal, August 6, 1952:
"Burial services for Dr. Elizabeth Rindlaub, Fargo, ND, a former Platteville resident, who died Tuesday at Fargo, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood cemetery. The body will arrive at the Thomas funeral home Thursday morning.
A graduate of Platteville Normal School as well as a medical school [the University of Michigan Medical School and the Philadelphia Polyclinic], she and a brother, Dr. John Rindlaub, were pioneers in the medical field in North Dakota. Her brother died in 1950.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. John Wooledge, Fargo, and Mrs. John Robertson, Platteville, and several nieces and nephews."
On August 27, 1927, Dr. Rindlaub hosted a reception at her home for Charles Lindbergh, who was visiting Fargo. Only three months had passed since his historic flight across the Atlantic.
