1. Obituary. he was born on July 7, 1936 to Lyle K. and Myrtle A. (_Densmore_) Griffin in Sparta, WI. Carol was a member of the Tomah High School Graduating Class of 1954. On August 14, 1954, Carol was united in marriage to GlenDale Pergande at St. Luke's Church in the Township of Knapp. And later was united in marriage to Haze Brown. She worked as a waitress for the Hearty Platter from 1987 to 2001. She was a member of the Town of Lincoln Fire Department and of Saint Matthews Lutheran Church. She enjoyed baking and cooking, spending time with her children and grandchildren, taking pictures on her old polaroid camera, and learning about her ancestry. She also enjoyed going camping and spending time outdoors. Carol loved spending time with her birds, most recently her cockatiel Simeon and her small dog Peaches. Mostly she loved taking care of others. She will be rememberd for opening her home and heart to anyone who needed a place to stay. She will also be remembered for feeding anyone who was hungry, even if they were just passing through. Her family will miss her delicious homemade bread, fresh baked homemade cinnamon rolls, and especially her made from scratch pancakes and syrup every Sunday morning. Carol will be remembered most for her bright smile and her very happy personality. ![]() Carol married Glen Dale Pergande. ![]() Carol next married Haze Brown. |
