Robert Coe married (3) soon after 15 Feb 1674 Jane (____) (Smith) Rouse, widow of Barthalomew Smith & Edward Rouse (on 15 Feb 1674, there was "[r]ead and considered the petition of Robert Coo, of Rustdorp, requesting to be admitted into the married state with Jane Rause, widow of Edward Rause, who about 2 1/2 years ago at Carolina; ordered: that the magistrates of the town of Rustdorp inquire as to the certainty of said Edeward Rause's death, and report their conclusion."
