Suggested edit: There seems to be another Ruth Hickok, dau of Joseph and Ruth in Barbour records. Joseph was prob Samuels's brother, who were raised by mother Elizabeth and step-father Wlm. Adams after death of father William. So not Ruth Gaylord Hickok.
