Born July 2, 1936, in Sulphur Springs, Missouri, to the late Harry J. and Mabel (Aubuchon) Niemann, Sr.
Before retiring he was employed at AmerenUE as a master technician and had served in the U.S. Coast Guard.
His wife, Ruth Ann (Boyer) Niemann, preceded him in death on August 1, 2010.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry A. Roth of DeSoto, MO; brother, Harry J. (Maxine) Niemann, Jr of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 grandchildren: John Wibbenmeyer of Festus, MO, Heath Wibbenmeyer of Potosi, MO and Jessie Becker of Hillsboro, MO; 3 and great grandchildren: Gavin, Aidan and Autumn.
In addition to his wife and parents he is preceded in death by a son, Lloyd "Butch" Niemann, Jr; and a sister, Norman Gibson.
He had been a member of Knights of Columbus Council 1230, a Boy Scout leader and member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Deacon Jerry Stoverink will officiate service.
Lloyd married Ruth A Boyer. (Ruth A Boyer was buried in De Soto, MO, Peaceful Ridge Cemetery.)
