Samuel E. Tracy
PLATTEVILLE, WI - Samuel E. Tracy, 93, of Platteville died Thursday noon at the Gray Nursing Home in Platteville.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Bonin Funeral Home in Platteville, where friends may call 4-9 p.m. on Friday. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Platteville.

Mr. Tracy had been a member of several saddle clubs in the Platteville and Belmont (Wis) area, and had participated in 29 dairy day parades.

His wife, the former Olive Edge, died Jan. 10, 1963.

Surviving are two sons, Frank G. of Pima, Ariz., and Thomas C. of Belmont; 15 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Harold of rural Platteville, and two sisters; Mrs. Phyllis Goke and Mrs. Ernest (Grace) Jenkins, both of Platteville.

Samuel married Olive Tresa Edge, daughter of William Edge and Sarah Emma McKnight. (Olive Tresa Edge was born on 6 Jun 1893 and was buried in Platteville, WI, Greenwood Cemetery.)
