Grant County Witness, February 12, 1896; Died, JONES; In Platteville, Feb. 8, 1896, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Robt. Duncan, Mrs. Ursula A. Jones, widow of Obed C. Jones, aged 78 years. The funeral was held at the M. E. Church at Whig, on Tuesday afternoon.

Card of Thanks; We wish to thank the many friends that so kindly assisted during the short illness and burial of our dear mother-especially to the singers. The children of the deceased, Mrs. O. C. Jones.

Ursula married Obed Crosby Jones, son of Chauncey Ely Jones Sr and Ursula Crosby, in 1834. (Obed Crosby Jones was born on 23 Mar 1810 and was buried in Platteville, WI, Whig Cemetery.)
