1. Miscellaneous. David was the son of David and Catherine Klinedinst Burkholder. He joined Co. I, 10th. WI. Inf.in 1861 during the Civil War. After his return home in 1863 he again joined the war effort in Co, C, 7th. Inf. in early 1864. He married Delia L. Blakeslee on November 26, 1865. They had two children; Amber and Edgar.
