Schroeder, Carl T. Went home to his heavenly father of Wednesday, November 8, 2017. Age 83 years. Beloved husband for 63 years of Mary (nee Trentz) Schroeder. Loving dad of Clare (Dale) Farris, Leslie (Steve) Bassewitz, Kristin (Marty) Williams, Carl (Christine) Schroeder II, and Eric (Terri) Schroeder. Cherished grandpa of Alison, Amanda, Christopher (Breeze), Breann (fiance Ross), Karie, Nick, Max, Jake, Luke, Anna, Lauren, Tessa and Ryan. Cherished great-grandpa of Averey. Dear brother of the late Ardyth (the late Bill) Rossing, Carolyn (the late Wayne) Wendorf, Maxine (the late Robert) Weinbergen, and Robert (Mary) Schroeder. Dear brother-in-law of George (the late Ramona) Trentz, the late James (Patsy) Trentz, Joan (the late Dean) Ostendorf, and the late Paul (Marcia) Trentz. Further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial Visitation SATURDAY, November 18, 2017 from 10:00AM-12:00 Noon at ST. STEPHENS CATHOLIC CHURCH 1441 W. Oakwood Rd. Oak Creek. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 Noon followed by military honors. Private inurnment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Carl was a United States Air Force veteran and recent Honor Flight attendee. He graduated from UW-Platteville with a Mining Engineer Degree after completing his time in the military. He retired as a sales and marketing manager for Nordberg, Allis Chalmers, and Pasceco Engineering. He was an avid golfer and fisherman who also loved sports and spending time with his family. Carl was a devoted Catholic and past member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and current member of St. Stephens Catholic Church. The family would like to extend their thank you to the staff of St. Luke's Medical Center 4EF team, the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic, especially Dr. Laura McGartland, Dr. Kenneth Bastin, and Dr. Mark Clemence, and the staff of Zilber Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Carl in his time of need. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Honor Flight or St. Stephens Food Pantry are appreciated.

Carl married Mary Ruth Trentz, daughter of George J Trentz and Unknown, on 5 Jan 1954.
