1. Obituary. Pierre S. Pluemer, 70, of Platteville, WI passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family. Pierre was born January 19, 1953, the son of Wilfred and Mary (Kuehl) Pluemer. He attended St. Mary's Grade School and Platteville High School. He farmed with his family his entire life. Pierre was "Mr. Fix-it" and could fix anything. He loved the outdoors. Pierre loved to fish, especially salmon fishing.
Pierre is survived by 3 brothers, 8 sisters, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Platteville, WI. Friends may call at the Melby Funeral Home & Crematory, Platteville, WI and at the church. Father Greg Ihm will officiate. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Platteville, WI.
