Married Ambrose Brunton on June 1, 1938 in Dubuque, Iowa
The couple had 10 children - eight girls and two boys - including Arthur Brunton (1940-2016)
At age 16, Adeline worked for a judge cleaning his home. She was later employed at Ed's Café, Taylor Café, Butterball Bakery, and J&B Restaurant.
Adeline was employed at the Platteville High School as a cook for 10 years, retiring in 1983.
She was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Platteville.
Adeline enjoyed crocheting, embroidering, coloring, playing cards, and watching "Wheel of Fortune."
In addition to her parents, Adeline was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrose in 1994; her son, Arthur in 2016; two grandchildren, William and Tina Gobrecht; and a son-in-law, Jim Leahy in 2018.

Funeral services were January 3, 2020 at First English Lutheran Church in Platteville with Pastor Naomi Garber and Intern Pastor Jamie Reising officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Platteville.

Adeline married Ambrose G Brunton, son of Samuel Edward Brunton III and Sarah Elisabeth Wentz. (Ambrose G Brunton was born in 1913 and was buried in Platteville, WI, Hillside Cemetery.)
