ROCKFORD - Candy J. "Gramma Red" McFall, 55, of Rockford, became an angel Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011. Born April 10, 1956, in Rockford, daughter of Robert and Charlotte (Davis) Wood. Graduated from Harlem High School where she was the "Huskie Dog" for several years. Married Dennis McFall on Nov. 26, 1976, in Rockford. Employed by SwedishAmerican Health System for many years most recently at Woodside Clinic. Candy loved family, volunteering for her kid's schools and was an enthusiastic Room Mother. Survivors include her husband, Dennis; son, Robert "Bobby" (Erica) McFall of Roscoe; daughter, Betsy (Jim) Reader of Rockford; grandsons, Holden, Eli and Noah; father, Bob Wood of Loves Park; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, including, Mary Wood-Fiecko; father-in-law, George McFall Sr.; sisters-in-law, Linda (Steve) Hall, Mary (Leo) Shusta and Ellen McFall; brothers-in-law, George (Marlys) McFall and Donald (Becky) McFall; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother; baby sister, Gwen Michelle; grandmothers, Frances Davis and Alpha Wood; grandfather, Vernon Wood; uncle, Vernon Wood Jr.; and mother-in-law, Elaine McFall.
Service at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, in Delehanty Funeral Home Ltd., 401 River Lane, Loves Park, with visitation from 1 p.m. to service time. Bobby Sheets and George McFall will officiate. In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established for her grandchildren.

Candy married Dennis Michael McFall, son of George Keith McFall and Elaine Margaret Bride, on 26 Nov 1976. (Dennis Michael McFall was born on 19 Jul 1955 in Rockford, IL.)
