WILLIAM BRANDEMUHL
William Brandemuhl was born October 30, 1842 in Germany and died at Lancaster, October 14, 1916.
In 1871 he was united in marriage to Miss Ernztein Block in Germany and in the year 1873 they came to America. They immediately came to Grant County and resided on a farm near Lancaster. Their farm life was all spent in Grant County until 1908 when they moved to this city.
Five children made up the happy family all of whom are living and together with the widow are left to mourn the father's departure. They are Frank and Albert of this city, Mrs. William Block of this city, Otto and John near Lancaster.
The funeral services were held from the Evangelical church on Monday afternoon at one o'clock. Rev. Harberts and Rev. Schmidt officiating. Interment was made at Hillside cemetery.
Wilhelm married Ernestine M Block, daughter of Johann Block and Marie. (Ernestine M Block was born on 14 Dec 1846 and was buried in Lancaster, WI, Hillside Cemetery.)
