An emergency appendectomy was performed yesterday afternoon on Mrs. Walter Gollmer, of Lena.

Mrs. Walter Gollmer, Jr.

Apple River, Ill. \endash Special: Funeral services for Mrs. Walter Gollmer, Jr., 28, will be held here Sunday noon at 12 o'clock at the home of her father-in-law, Walter Gollmer, Sr., to the Lutheran Church at Wiota, Wis., where burial will also be made.

Mrs. Gollmer, who lived on a farm near Lima, died Thursday night at a Freeport hospital.

She was the former Grace Vinger and was born March 4, 1912 at Darlington, Wis. She was married to Mr. Gollmer, who survives with a small son and daughter; her parents Mr. and Mrs. Bennet Vinger, farmers living near Darlington; and six sisters, Mrs. Berniece Munson, Mrs. Alta Nelson, Mrs. Myrtle Hendrickson, Mrs. Esther Hendrickson, and Anna and Arlene, all living near Darlington.

Grace married Walter Lee Jacob Gollmer, son of Walter John Gollmer and Elsie May Bentley, on 11 Feb 1933 in Galena, IL. (Walter Lee Jacob Gollmer was born on 21 May 1912 in Darlington, WI, died on 5 Jan 1982 in Madison, WI and was buried in Hill Point, WI, Saint Paul Lutheran Cemetery.)
