• Obituary. Hazel M. Lamb, 92, of Tomah died, Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Cranberry Court. She was born on March 27, 1920 to Oscar and Alice (Allen) Churchill in the Township of Scott, Monroe County. She was united in marriage to Edward Lamb, Sr. on August 8, 1942. From this union 2 children were born, Edward Lamb, Jr. and Kathy. Hazel worked for over 30 years on Union Camp retiring in 1982. She was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed listening to books on tape and when she was able, visiting with family and friends. She always looked forward to the yearly Cranberry Festival visits from her grandchildren. She was a past member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. Hazel will be remembered for her kind and caring heart. She is survived by a daughter Kathy (Scott) King of New Lisbon, 5 grandchildren, Steve (Jill) Lamb, Scott Lamb, Christine Lamb, Michael King, and Rebecca King, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, a sister, Effie Bloom, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Edward, Jr., 2 grandchildren, 4 brothers, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers-in-law and 3 sisters-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 22, 2013, 1:00 P.M. at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 115 W. LaCrosse Street, Tomah. Pastor Edwin W. Stigen will officiate. Burial will be in the Wood Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service.
