• Obituary. George Washington Dailey was born on 3 August 1826, in Pennsylvania, United States. He married Adeline Carrier on 28 October 1848, in Mercer, Pennsylvania. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. The family lived in Fowler, Trumbull County, Ohio in 1850 and relocated to Ellenboro, Grant County, Wisconsin in 1857. He lived in the areas of Lima, Harrison and Lancaster, Grant County, Wisconsin until his death. He died on 6 December 1909, in Harrison, Grant County, Wisconsin, at the age of 83, and was buried in Hillside Cemetery, Lancaster, Grant, Wisconsin.
