Rachel Lewis

  Noted events in her life were:

• Miscellaneous. Rachel was the widow of Amariah or Ezuriah Plumb, 1780-1812, b. Wolcott Connecticut, d. Hartford, Trumbull County, Ohio. She remarried Abraham Lewis on a visit to Bristol Connecticut, his hometown, in 1815. The Warren newspaper records Rachel's death of breast cancer in the 53rd year of her age in July 1837. Rachel married Abraham Lewis, son of Royce Lewis and Ruth Parmelee, in 1815. (Abraham Lewis was born in 1782 and was buried in Vienna, OH, Vienna Township Cemetery.)
