  Noted events in her life were:

• Obituary. Mrs. Anna Richard, 69, wife of Bart Richard, died at the family residence near Dickeyville, Wisconsin, Friday afternoon, April 22, 1938, at 4:30 o'clock. Death followed an illness of eight weeks. The body was at the family residence, from where the funeral was held Monday morning, April 25, at 10 o'clock to the Holy Ghost Church at Dickeyville, Wisconsin, at 10:30 o'clock. The Rev. C. W. Haines, pastor, sang the high mass of requiem and preached the sermon. Pallbearers were John Reuter, Gus Ginter, John and Elmer Helbing, George Kruser, and Michael Sutter. Burial was in the cemetery adjoining the church. Father Haines officiated at the graveside services. Her survivors were her husband, Bart; four sons, John Richard, Henry Richard, Frank Richard, and Peter Richard, all of Dickeyville, Wis.; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur McClain, of Platteville, Wis., and Mrs. Frank Udelhofen, of Dickeyville, Wis.; and 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Anna married Bart Richard, son of Johan H Richard and Theresia KIeler, in 1891. (Bart Richard was born on 15 Feb 1865 and was buried in Dickeyville, WI, Holy Ghost Cemetery.)
