• Obituary. Edward Martiny, 90, of 720 High Ave., died at St. Nicholas Hospital Wednesday evening. Born In Germany on June 13, 1868, he came to this country in 1881 with his parents. He married Miss Mary Kropp of Sheboygan in 1890. She died in 1901. On Oct. 24, 1903, he married Mrs. Mary Renzelmann of Sheboygan. She died in 1944. He was employed at the Globe Co. for 30 years prior to going to work at the Armour Leather Co. as a millwright 17 years ago, retiring in 1941. Survivors are six sons, George and Roman of Milwaukee, Raymond, Edward Jr. and Clarence of Sheboygan, John Renzelmann of Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. Veronica Mertz and Mrs. Carita Schumacher of Sheboygan; 25 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren. A daughter, two brothers and a sister also preceded him in death. He was a member of St. Peter Claver Church, its Holy Name Society, the St. Peter Claver Aid Society, Catholic Knights, and the Good Samaritan Guild. Services will be held at the Ramm Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Saturday followed by a Requiem Mass at St. Peter Claver Church at 11 a.m. The Rev. Robert M. Hoeller will be the celebrant and burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday.
