1. Obituary: Broecker Funeral Home. Services for Gerald (Jerry) Spencer Plaster Jr. 50 of Salado Texas will be at Broecker Funeral Home 18 June 2021 at 10 AM with Michael Burkes, officiating. A private burial service will be held on 21 June 2021 at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery officiated by Fr. Jude Uche.
Jerry passed away at his Salado home on 11 June 2021 after an extended illness.
He was born to Gerald Spencer Plaster Sr. and Dorothy Mae Frock Plaster (deceased) in Dallas, Texas 29 January 1971. He is a 1989 graduate of MacArthur High School, Lawton, Oklahoma.
Jerry is survived by his wife Maggie; four children: Cassandra, Kolby, Joshua, Jacob, and four grandsons: Elliot, Max, Nathaniel, and Leon. The couple has been residents of the Salado community since 2017.
Jerry served in the US Army for 26 years and was a decorated combat Veteran.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Nightstalker Association Scholarship Fund or the Semper Fi Foundation.
Gerald married Melissa Jean Schneider, daughter of Randolph Martin Schneider and Madonna Lee Lamb, on 15 Aug 1991 in Fort Sill, OK, Chapel. (Melissa Jean Schneider was born on 7 Nov 1972 in Racine, WI.)
