Mary of Mason City, formerly of Winthrop, died of cancer Monday in Mercy Hospital, Mason City. Services: 11 a.m. today, Trinity Lutheran Church, Mason City, where there will be a family prayer service at 10:45 a.m. Burial: 11 a.m. Friday, St. Patrick's Cemetery, Monti. Major-Erickson Funeral Home, Mason City, in charge.
Survivors include her husband, David; a son, David Jr., at home; her mother, Alberta Wieland of Winthrop; four brothers, Ted and Paul Wieland, both of Winthrop, and Dean and Jeffrey Wieland, both of Independence; and a sister, Paula Heckenlively of Waterloo.
