1. Obituary. Nora May Lamb, age 79, of Sparta, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021. She was born May 25, 1942, to Alvin and Edith Rhoades.

Nora was united in marriage to Orville Lamb on February 24, 1957. Together they enjoyed raising the family and spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nora was a hard-working person who worked various jobs throughout her life. In her spare-time she enjoyed cooking, sewing and shopping.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Shelia) Lamb, Alva Lamb, Frank (Amanda) Lamb, Sherry (Vaughn) Kuehl and Wayne (Joanne) Lamb of Sparta, WI, 11 grandchildren, Danny, Amanda, Joey, Jessie, Kennedy, Matthew, Reba, Keshia, Shannon, Shane, Cole, Kelly and Carrie and many great grandchildren, a brother, Coy (Bonnie) Rhoades, a brother-in-law, Franklin (Debbie) Lamb, sisters-in-law, Delia Myer and Donna Jane Peterson, her best friend and four legged child, Gizmo, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orville, and many siblings.

A Celebration of Nora's life will be held Monday, January 10, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Wood Cemetery, rural Tomah. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.

Nora married Orville William Lamb, son of Frank George Henry Orvil Lamb and Betty Jane Chase, on 24 Feb 1957 in Placerville, CA. (Orville William Lamb was born on 26 Nov 1938 in Tomah, WI, died on 18 Dec 2008 in Tomah, WI and was buried on 22 Dec 2008 in Tomah, WI, Wood Cemetery.)
