bullet  Noted events in her life were:

1. Obituary. Beverly Ann Mallicote was born Beverly Ann Curtis on May 30, 1947 to Samuel Curtis and Gladys Ernestine Lorain (Lamb) Curtis. Sister to James (Jim) R. Curtis and his wife Nancy Curtis, Elden Curtis and Lela Mae Curtis. She was preceded in death by Samuel, Gladys, Lela, Elden, and Jim. On September 13, 2025, the "creek rose" and she went home to the Lord. She always said, "Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise."

For 32 years, she was married to the love of her life and father to her 3 daughters, Tom Mallicote. Though they separated many years ago, they had made amends. And she still considered all of the in laws family. Mother to Lynn Ann (Braswell/Peters)(Jeff Braswell) (James Hefley), Linda Marie Faircloth (Scotty Faircloth), and Carol Lea Williams (Mike Williams). Although she only had 3 daughters, many friends of her girls have had the pleasure to call her mom and be on the receiving end of her love.

Her real pride and joy was being a grandmother, who gave her her grandma name Gma. She wanted nothing more than for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren to know her. She leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Ashley (Braswell) & Zach Boehnke, Bradley & Mica Braswell, and Grace Williams and 2 great grandchildren Sutton Lily Braswell and Ivy Jane Boehnke.

You can't sum up her life in one page. To know her was to know her laugh and smile. She went through plenty of hard things in life but always seemed to still be her children's biggest cheerleader. She worked over a decade at TJ Maxx in Chico at the jewelry counter before finally retiring to help care for her granddaughter Grace. In her younger years, she worked in a panty hose factory, a dry cleaners, as a stay at home mom often watching other kids, and Wild Dunes in housekeeping.

Growing up in Wisconsin surrounded by family and cousins galore. She lost her mother at a very young age, who was one of 21 Lamb children! We joked she was related to Wisconsin. After marrying Tom, they lived in Tennessee near his family and settled in South Carolina for many years after that. After their divorce, she relocated to Chico, CA to be with her brother Jim and sister-in-law Nancy.

She was part of several organizations including VFW Post 10624, FOE #218, OES Golden Feather #35 and plenty of Shiner's activities with Tom over the years.

She had so many great qualities and talents that she didn't always give herself credit for. She had beautiful penmanship and dabbled in calligraphy with an ability to draw. She was a creator and liked to sew and crochet and be crafty. She was a believer of God, patriotic, loved coffee, sweet treats, her White diamonds perfume, sparkly shiny things/ bling, big hair, an animal lover, and just generally happy to be included and just so many other things.
