  Noted events in his life were:

1. Other: Note from Mark McFall, 16 May 2010, Como Zoo. We just got back from the Como Zoo, which is just a few blocks from Kelly's house. We were just getting ready to leave to come home when all of the sudden Matt took off running. He had been watching an animal several hundred feet and to the left of us, it was a cougar. All of the sudden he saw a man put his son up on the wall, which only had a 3 foot barrior from the animal which was caged outdoors by a cable fence. In an instance the little boy who was Lucas's age took off without his dad seeing him. It was then that Matt saw the cougar grab the boy through the fence and had him pinned against the fence, holding him with his claws by the spine. Matt yelled, as nobody had seen it yet...and the boys dad jumped up on the wall and pulled his son away from the cougar just as Matt got to them. They took off with the little boy bleeding, and they kind of disappeared into the crowd. A vendor told them that they should take him to an emergency room...then lots of officials came looking for what happened and Matt told them what he knew. So, my son-in-law is a hero who may have saved a little boys life. It's true.

Matthew married Jenny Lolita McFall, daughter of Mark Stanley McFall and Jenny Monserratt Verdesoto, on 28 Jun 2003 in Platteville, WI, Free Methodist Church. (Jenny Lolita McFall was born on 19 Dec 1980 in Platteville, WI.)
