Noted events in her life were: • Miscellaneous. Bridget Littleton (also spelled Lyttleton) was born in 1545 in Groveley Wood, Worcester, Worcestershire, England. Bridget was the daughter of Robert Littleton (1519-1601) and Elizabeth (Stanley) Littleton (1525-1557). Bridget's grandfather was Sir John Lyttleton who was constable of Dudley Castle and keeper of the old and new parks there in 1553, knighted by Queen Elizabeth I at Kenilworth in 1566 and was a member of the Council of Wales and the Marches, a Deputy Lieutenant and Justice of the Peace for Worcestershire. There were many other knights in this family line. Bridgett married Henry James, son of Edmond James and Anne Ramsey. (Henry James was born in 1539 in England and was buried in Unknown.)
