1. Obituary. Maxine Bendorf passed away peacefully at home November 1, 2020. She was born July 24, 1926 in Lancaster, Wisconsin and was a long-time resident of Fort Walton Beach. Maxine was a strong but gentle lady that embraced life, family and friends. She always had a smile and never complained about what life dealt her. We will miss her dearly but know she is re-united with her husband Laverne and son Stan. Maxine is survived by her daughters Lois Anne Richards, Joan Graddy, Mary Lou Janocko (Terry) and Joyce Bendorf Embry. She had numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. We were blessed to have her with us all of these years. Thanks to Emerald Coast Oncology Doctors and nurses for making her journey easier and Emerald Coast Hospice for making the end of her journey peaceful.

Maxine married Laverne William Bendorf, son of John Ernest Bendorf and Leta Mae Gelbach. (Laverne William Bendorf was born on 11 Dec 1920 in Cuba City, WI, died on 24 Apr 2008 and was buried in Fort Walton Beach, FL, Beal Memorial Cemetery.)

Maxine next married Herbert Roland Weisbenner Jr, son of Herbert Laverne Weisbenner and Rose Nora Bendorf, on 30 Sep 1944 in Grant Cty, WI. (Herbert Roland Weisbenner Jr was born on 2 Jun 1925, died on 4 Aug 1957 in Benton, WI (Beardsley Lake) and was buried in Lancaster, WI, Hillside Cemetery.). The cause of his death was Drowned.
