25th Reg. Wis Vol Inf. Co. H. See the account of the 25t h in notes of Edwin McFall. He also enlisted for three ye ars. He was a patient at a hospital in Memphis from July t o Oct of 1863, a cook at a regimental hospitl from Nov 186 3 to Feb. 1864 and a nurse at a regimental hospital in Se p 1864. He was mustered out June 7, 1865.

Joseph married Priscilla Dorothy Wayne. (Priscilla Dorothy Wayne was buried in Marne, IA, Brighton Cemetery.)
