1. Obituary. Sylvia May Gunn, age 58, of Tomah, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 23, 2021. She was born June 20, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois. Sylvia was raised in Tomah by her parents, Donald and Julia (Skinner) Ludke with her siblings, Penny and Joe.

She was united in marriage to Roy Gunn Sr. Together they enjoyed attending family functions and traveling together. Sylvia enjoyed spending time outdoors and had an abundance of plants and flowers. She also enjoyed crocheting and quilting. Her love for animals and their care was a life-long passion of hers, she had received her vet license and was her family and friends "go to" person for all things vet related. Sylvia loved her family more than anything. She was anticipating the arrival of her first great grandson this summer.

She is survived by her husband, Roy Gunn Sr, her children, Nikki (Seth) Winrich and Joe (Courtney) Holmes Jr., grandchildren, Taylor Winrich, Mason and Easton Winrich, Emmon Eades, Jaxx Holmes and Teegan Cannon, step-children, Roy Jr. (Shelley) Gunn, Nate Gunn and Eric (Spring) Gunn, step-grandchildren, Dillan and Wyatt Gunn, Leah and Oliver Gunn and Lucas Gunn, Sylvia's sister, Penny Collins, sister-in-law, Barb Taylor, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Julia, and her brother, Joe "Buck" Taylor.

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Log Cabin in Warrens. Pastor Daren DeFord will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the Log Cabin in Warrens. The Torkelson Funeral Home of Tomah is assisting the family with arrangements.

Sylvia married Joseph Allen Holmes.

Sylvia next married Roy Alan Gunn Sr, son of Allister Glen Gunn and Christine Alaida Fredricks. (Roy Alan Gunn Sr was born on 22 Jul 1958 in Kenosha, WI.)
