Originally buried at the Village Green, but headstones later moved to Alderbrook when the Village Green was made into a park.
John's parents: John's father John married first to Rebecca (possibly Eaton) in England. She died Sept. 1651 in Guilford. They had one child, Nathaniel who married Sarah French.
John's father John married second to Anna Plaine/Plain, widow of William Plaine/Plain, in Guilford in 1651. Anna died March 1658 in Guilford. John and Anna had no children.
John's father John married for the third time to Hannah Plaine/Plain, the daughter of William and Anna Plaine/Plane, whom he married in February 1658/59. (He married his stepdaughter.) She died Jan. 8, 1687/88.
John and his third wife Hannah had the following children: John b. 1659,
Joshua, Caleb, Isaac, Hannah, Stephen,
Job, Priscilla and Joel.
