Parker Sr., 68, of Vesper, went to rest on July 15, 2003, with Debbie, Eddie John, Todd, Lisa, Diane, Star, his good friend, Marvin Jensen, his grandchildren, other relatives and friends by his side at the Tomah Health Care Center. He was born on June 30, 1935, to Donald and Leona (Slater) Parker in Mather. On Oct. 28, 1961, he was united in marriage to Diane M. Otto. Edward loved horses, driving truck and especially his family.
He is survived by his former wife, Diane of Warrens; his mother, Leona Slater Parker; his sons, Todd (Lisa) Parker and Eddie John (April) Parker, both of Vesper; a daughter, Debbie (Mark Baker) Plucinski of Babcock; 15 grandchildren, Tina (P.J.) Dickman, Brent Plucinski, Brandon Parker, Kenny Parker, Desiree Parker, Marlana Parker, Davida Parker, Allison Parker, Deborah Parker, Amy (Alfonso) Velasco, Anna Parker, Todd Parker Jr., Derrick Parker, Page and Phillip Munster; two great-grandchildren, Damien and Peggy Sue Dickman; siblings, Donna (Johnny) Polizzi of New Berlin, , Delores (Bob) James of Corsicana, Texas, Donnie (Sally) Parker of Milwaukee, Verlin (Marlon) Parker of Red Granite, Norma (John) Lyman of West Bend, Larry (Gay) Parker of Mauston, Carol Schulz of Milwaukee, Shirley (Clinton) Meacham of Tomah, Sharon (Bill) Lorenz of Colgate, Cindy (Dan) Fagan of Whithee, Mary Kay (Dan) Overby of Green Bay, Linda (Bill) Meyer of Ozark, Ala., Rita Rixie of Rochester, Minn., Pattie (Lewis) Libbey of Tomah, Denise (Greg) Henderson of Norwalk, Dennis (Tammy) Parker of Altamont, Kan., and Alan Parker of Parsons, Kan.; a sister-in-law, Pam (Rick) Mason and brother- in-law, Roger (Cheryl) Otto. A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 18, at 11 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Friday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
