1. Obituary. Mrs. Margaret Haney passed away Thursday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of her son, William Haney, on West Eighth Street, with whom she made her home.

Mrs. Haney was 99 years old the 27^th of June and was born in Trumbull County, Ohio. She located in Wisconsin in 1854 and afterwards moved to Missouri where her husband died 27 years ago. Two years ago, she was living with her son, William Haney, in this city but went to live with her daughter, Mrs. McKinney in Illinois, where she remained until last winter when she returned to this city. She was confined to her bed only about 12 days, her death being due to the infirmities of age. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. The surviving members of her family are: Robert Haney of Wisconsin, James Haney of North Bloom field, California, Mrs. Julia Frantz of Wisconsin, Mrs. Marilla Harshberger of Newton, Iowa, William Haney of this city and Mrs. McKinney of Wolcott, Colo.

Robert Haney and Mrs. McKinney came to the city before their mother's death and James Haney is on his way from California to attend the funeral. He will probably arrive Sunday and no definite announcement will be made of the funeral until his arrival.

Margaret married David Haney, son of James Haney and Jane, on 1 Sep 1827 in Coitsville, OH. (David Haney was born on 19 Aug 1803 in Trumbull County, OH, died on 17 May 1882 in Hopkins, Nodaway County, MO and was buried in Hopkins, MO, Hopkins Cemetery.)
