1. Obituary. Isabel June Clark, age 89, of Boyceville passed away on April 11, 2007, at Dunn County Health Center in Menomonie. Isabel was born on June 6, 1917, in Green Lake County, Wis., to the Emma (Kohnke) and Edward Welk.
She and her family lived on various farms in the Dunn County area. Isabel was an outdoors person. She loved working the land and caring for animals, especially her horses. She was an organist at her church for 40 years. She traveled extensively throughout the United States, plus took a trip to Switzerland. Her life centered on her family and church.
Survivors include her children, Roger (Ruby) Clark of Boyceville, Alan (Linda) Clark of Idaho, Marilyn (Rande) Cuellar of Minnesota and Sandra (Ed) Fitch of Florida; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert (Jane) Welk, of California; and three sisters-in-law, Vivian Welk of Minnesota, Mildred Welk of Menomonie and Carole Welk of Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy; her brothers, Raymond, Gene and Milo Welk; a sister, Elizabeth Hintzman; and a granddaughter, Bethany Clark. Her brother, Roy Welk, died on April 21, 2007.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at New Life Church of the Nazarene in Wheeler, Wis. Pastor Steve Crites will officiate.
The Cremation Society of Wisconsin in Eau Claire served the family.
