1. Miscellaneous. While driving truck, his CB handle was Lamb Chop 2. Obituary: La Crosse Tribune. Robert Roy Lamb, Sr., 68, of Tomah, died Saturday, May 28, 2005, at the Serenity House in Tomah. He was born Nov. 17, 1936, to Gaylon LeRoy and Carrie (Griffin) Lamb at Wyeville. He attended school at Wyeville and at Tomah. He was united in marriage to Ilene Joyce Fairfield on Sept. 10, 1955, in Racine. He drove truck for Jim Vant Trucking for three years and worked for Farmer Construction in Tomah for 25 years. Robert was a collector and collected eagles and lighthouses. He enjoyed yard work, camping and fishing. Robert married Ilene Joyce Fairfield, daughter of Russell A Fairfield and Ella Ruth Bowen. (Ilene Joyce Fairfield was born on 14 Jun 1939, died on 12 May 2018 in Tomah, WI and was buried on 16 May 2018 in Tomah, WI, Wood Cemetery.)
